Come and unwind in one of our charming deluxe cottages in beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, classed as ‘an area of outstanding natural beauty’.
Originally a 19th century dairy farm, each of our seven cottages have been sympathetically converted and offer spacious, clean, comfortable, quality accommodation in relaxing and peaceful surroundings, set in seventeen acres of private grounds.
Each cottage is full of traditional country character and has a different theme. All our cottages offer lovely views over the Lincolnshire countryside and have French windows opening onto a private patio with garden furniture and parasols.
They are equipped and furnished to a very high standard with Sanderson fabrics, quality sofas and beds, solid pine or oak furniture and original wooden floors. In addition, our award winning five star Red Room designed for romantic couples has chrome, leather and glass furniture and a super king size waterbed.
Every cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, including electric cooker, hob, microwave, refrigerator / freezer box, toaster, kettle, cutlery, crockery, cafetiere, wine chillers, all cooking utensils, iron and ironing board. Lounge areas have flat screen TV with freeview and there is free WIFI internet connection in all cottages.
Bathrooms are designed with quality fittings and sanitary ware and have a either a shower or a shower/bath.
Bed linen, duvets, pillows, plenty of clean towels, tea towels, cot, high chair and hair dryers are provided free of charge and electricity and central heating are included in the weekly rental price. Some cottages have their own private washing and drying facilities and there is a communal laundry/utility room fitted with washers and dryers for other guests’ use.
There are two beautifully planted courtyards, one with a raised fish pond and a covered veranda style outdoor area with heating, lighting, a BBQ, and a pool table. The second looks onto a wooded area and private garden with mature planting, trees, sitting areas and a lawn. There is lighting from dusk to dawn to enhance the properties and landscaping, and ample free parking.
The cottages are accredited annually and our Red Room has been awarded the National Gold 5 Star rating. We achieved a gold award from North East Lincolnshire Tourism in 2010 and were finalists in the Lincolnshire Star Award 2009 for the ‘self-catering holiday of the year.’
